If you're against developing by the high school, you need to let our M&C know rezoning this property to commercial is a step in the wrong direction. They are poised to vote this way and we need to ask them not to. So, please try to attend tonights meeting.
We won't forget thier vote when it's our turn - on election day.

"To lead people, walk beside them … As for the best leaders, the people do not notice their existence. The next best, the people honor and praise. The next, the people fear; and the next, the people hate … When the best leader’s work is done the people say, ‘We did it ourselves!"

What's amazing is the amount of SOD signs appearing throughout NM. Hopefully, our well informed leaders in Boro Hall will not rezone this land and compromise with the developers as Councilman Berner alluded to in the Bergen Record a few months ago. Last week's ruling in Ceder Grove puts a halt on developers looking to sue Municipalities over COAH (thank you Gov. Christie). If our M&C had a backbone they'd listen to their constiuents and not developers, and prevent this land from being developed. Exhaust all means, which they haven't, to make sure this land remains open and gets purchased through environmental groups and maybe we could get that field we all want there rather than by the middle school. Wake up people and join us tonight at boro fall.

It will be interesting to see how many political party signs will appear on people's property this year.
