High-fives and congratulations from council members.

The Mayor and Council recognized the outstanding achievement of the New Milford Jr. Knights football team at Monday's meeting. Before a standing room only crowd, Mayor Ann Subrizi handed each member of the undefeated team a certificate honoring their achievement.

After a season interrupted by flooded fields and unexpected snow, the Jr. Knights beat overwhelming odds to take home the Super Bowl trophy in 12-0 victory against Saddle Brook.
