Jr. Knights Pep Rally Tonight

10-0 Jr. Knights prepare for Sunday's Super Bowl with a pep rally

There will be a pep rally and bon fire 7 p.m. tonight at the Babe Ruth field to celebrate the Juniors who are moving on to the Super Bowl. Coached by Bob Collins and seven assistant coaches, the Jr. Knights are 10-0.

According to team mom Mary McElroy, "Given all the obstacles we've faced this season with flooding of our fields, difficulties with finding practice fields, and cancelled home games, this is a major accomplishment for the entire NMJFL organization."

Former NFL player Johnnie Davis, who played for the winning San Francisco 49'ers in Super Bowl XVI, is expected to visit the pep rally tonight.

The pep rally is scheduled to start at 7 PM at the Babe Ruth field in town. Come out and support our winning team!
