Gibbs School PTO Fundraiser For Class of 2013
The PTO of Gibbs Elementary School is hosting a clothing and accessory sale to raise money for graduation preparations for the class of 2013.
This a perfect time of year to start cleaning out the closets, dressers, and the attic, especially since the B.F. Gibbs School is looking for donations of perfectly good clothes and accessories to sell at their fundraiser.
The Gibbs School 5th grade fundraising committee is hosting a PTO sponsored clothing and accessory sale on SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 22nd 9am to 4pm at Gibbs School, with proceeds going towards graduation preparations for the Class of 2013.
They are seeking donations of gently used (or new), wearable clothing in all sizes, for all seasons, for men, women, children, and babies. Shoes, belts, jackets, coats, hats, scarves, handbags are welcome, as well.
Please bring your donations to Gibbs School on FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 21st from 3pm-8pm.
Clothes must be CLEAN and, where possible, sorted by gender, size, and marked as adult or child. Shoes should be kept separate. Clearly identifying the contents by marking the outsides of the bags will be a huge help during the sorting process.
"Tell everyone you know about the sale," Danielle LoPorto said. "It's a great opportunity to swap out your old stuff and get a whole new wardrobe for just a few dollars, all while reusing, recycling and reducing our footprint."
Donations of stuffed animals will also be accepted, as will small hard plastic toys (think Happy Meal), and gently used linens. Please place these in separate, marked bags.
