On Sat. Feb. 2 2013 , NMHS Freshman wrestler Robby Jurgensen took the gold, placing 1st at the Freshman Bergen County Wrestling Tournament Feb. 2, at Bergenfield High School. 

Jurgensen, wrestling at 113 lbs., pinned his first three matches in dramatic fashion and nearly pinned his final match, winning by a score of 11-2 .

Jurgensen was also nominated as Outstanding Wrestler in the Tournament, although that title went to another wrestler.  

Jurgensen said, "Hard work, strong drive, dedication and commitment," are what he credits his success with. Along with great coaches.
