Whether you want to attend an egg hunt, church service or get your child’s photo taken with the Easter Bunny (much less traumatic than Santa Claus), check out our list of Easter events happening in New Milford.
The annual borough Easter Egg Hunt starts at 10am behind borough hall on Saturday, March 23. In case of rain, the event will be held on March 30. The Hunt is open to all children up to 5th grade and parents should provide their own baskets.
Saint Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church will hold its own Egg Hunt on Easter Sunday at 11am
Photos with the Easter Bunny
Bring your camera and take a picture with the Easter Bunny at the New Milford Lions Club annual pancake breakfast on Sunday March 24, 8am to 12pm in the New Milford High School cafeteria. Tickets are $5 for adults, $4 for senior citizens and $4 for children (under 12) and includes all-you-can-eat pancakes, sausage, crumb cake, coffee and orange juice. Children can meet the Easter Bunny and get a goody bag. All proceeds will benefit the New Milford Lions Club, a community service organization which is dedicated to local scholarships, local service projects as well as an international appeal to combat preventable blindness.
