District Breakdown of Election Results
See how the candidates did in each district, with the unofficial counts.
Councilman-elect Michael Putrino (D) received the most votes in Tuesday's election, coming in with an unofficial total of 3,161 votes. Although his numbers were consistently strong across all districts, District 8 gave Putrino the most votes (435), while District 9 gave him the fewest (263).
Democrtatic incumbent Austin Ashley came in with an unofficial count of 2,956. District 8 gave Ashley the most votes (394) while District 9 handed him (259).
Republican incumbent Howard Berner lost his seat with an unofficial total of 2,583 votes. District 8 cast the most votes (373) while the fewest came from District 7 (117).
Republican candidate Peter Rebsch has an unofficial total of 2,584. District 8 came out in strong support of Rebsch (379) while District 7 only delivered (107).
Because of the power outages associated with Hurricane Sandy, polling districts were combined. Districts 1 through 7 voted at Berkley School while Districts 8 and 9 voted at the New Milford Library.

These are NOT official. there are LOTS of ballots hiding all over the county in so many of our towns that the County people will be going nuts for weeks..If there is one particular candidate you're interested in, I can tell you that. but to do them all would take about a whole day.

To give you some idea of the districts: Districts 1 (Peetzburg area) and 2 (Gibbs School area) are at the north end of town and Districts 8 and 9 are at the south end of town. The others are in between. The numbers go from low to high as you go south from the Oradell border to New Bridge Road.
