Angel, a female pit bull terrier, is such a sweet girl who has had a sad life but is ready for her forever home. Her story is one of survival and admiration as she has a great spirit and has had the ability to trust in those who caused her suffering. This 5-6 year old was emaciated and bruised when she was found. With the help of her wonderful and caring foster family, she was able to recover and give birth to 7 healthy and beautiful pit bull puppies. All her puppies have found their new homes but Angel is still waiting. . Her love of humans and the need for companionship, makes her one of te most affectionate adoptable dogs at the shelter. Unfortunately, Angel would prefer to be the only love of your life so we are looking for a home that will take her as their only pet. The shelter will make sure she gets a home where she is not only treated with the utmost TLC, but with a family who will help her realize there is good in this world and that will remind her why she never gave up on human love. Rocky was left homeless by Superstorm Sandy. His owners sadly, had no place to keep him so they had no choice but to leave him at the shelter. He is a 12-year old Labrador Retriever. Although he seems fine, he gets easily stressed out and is anxious in his kennel. Outside his kennel, he is a different dog; lively and vivacious, he loves people and is willing to introduce himself to just about anyone. Typical lab, he still needs plenty of physical and mental stimulation. ID # 87455.
Sasha is a super friendly cat. She is domestic long hair/calico mix about 5 years old. She gets along great with the other shelter cats. Sasha has a great disposition and will make a wonderful addition to any household. ID#86935
This pretty Golden Retriever came to the shelter because her owner could no longer take care of her. She came in with another female golden so it’s hoped she will do well in the same home with another dog. Introductions are recommended to make sure it’s a good match. Sweet as can be, this gorgeous gal will need regular grooming so she can look as good as she feels. At 6 years of age, she is quite the lovebug and very social. Open to meet anyone and anything, Elizabeth is outgoing and gives hugs freely. She will be your lifetime friend if you only give her your home and your heart. ID# 87526

I fostered Angel in my home, before and after she had her puppies, she is a wonderful, loving, loyal and 100% housebroken dog. She does however need to be the only pet in the home, she has been through alot, and has been at the shelter for 7 months now. She deserves to be adopted and settled into her forever home.
