Comedian Adam Ferrara will be headlining a fundraiser to benefit the Volunteer Center of Bergen County.

Ferrara is known for his appearances on Comedy Central, his role as Chief "Needles" Nelson on Rescue Me and for hosting Top Gear.

The event will take place at Banana’s Comedy Club in Hasbrouck Heights March 22. Tickets are $30 with a one drink/food minimum. Tickets can be purchased by calling (201) 489-9454 or from the Volunteer Center's website.

The Volunteer Center of Bergen County is responsible for many activities, including mentoring programs for children and "overwhelmed" moms, a handyman service for seniors and the "All Wrapped Up" program which generated more than $400,000 in resources for those in need, among several others.

“The Volunteer Center plays a key role in helping Bergen County residents respond to needs in our community,” Executive Director Janet Sharma said in a press release.
