After months of rehearsals, choreography, set design and building, New Milford High School will be debuting "9 to 5: The Musical" Thurs. March 24. Based on the 1980 movie with Dolly Parton, Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin and Dabney Coleman, the musical chronicles three working women as they scheme to get even with, and overthrow, the company's "sexist, egotistical, lying" boss. 

The show, directed by Jonathan Silver, NMHS 2005, and produced by Alexander Diaz, NMHS 2003, will have performances March 22 to March 24 at 8 p.m. in the Jim Africano Auditorium at New Milford High School.  

Silver told Patch that New Milford High School is one of the first five non-equity productions of "9 to 5: The Musical" and the first one in New Jersey. 

Always a big community event, Silver is expecting to sell out every show. Tickets are still available, but going fast. 

Tickets are $15/adult and $10/student and can be purchased at the door.
