The Art Center of Northern New Jersey is an extremely unique and special place. You can feel the warmth the moment you come through the door. You will be greeted with a big smile by any one of its volunteer help, members or by the director herself. The wonderment of The Center is that you will be meeting and creating art along side artists and teachers who are nationally and internationally recognized. Yet, what makes The Center so very amazing is that these artists and artist-teachers are extremely low key and humble – they simply want to share their love of art with all who enter.
The Art Center of Northern New Jersey provides a wide range of programming as well as an especially creative environment. In this unique setting there are classes for all ages, all abilities and all physical capabilities. The Center attracts those from diverse backgrounds too; its members and patrons are from varying socioeconomic, religious and cultural groups. The Art Center is truly a society without barriers. By promoting a warm, friendly and creatively contagious atmosphere, regional artists, artists-teachers and members of the community at large directly interact and share their love of art through artistic exchanges irrespective of their ability and/or achievements.
